Our
event is on Mason Street in the PRESIDIO -- DO NOT go to Mason
Street in DOWNTOWN San Francisco! Enter “Presidio of San
Francisco” in
your google (or other mapping) search field, and you’ll see a map of
the Presidio. The intersection of Mason and Roberts (map) –
that’s
pretty close to a direct hit. The event takes place just a few
yards to
the west, at Crissy Field – you can’t miss it. You can use the "Get Directions" link on the Google Map at the map link above for directions and maps from where you are coming.

-- OUR 240-SPOT RESERVED PARKING AREA – We still have plenty of parking
spots left, but by day-of-event I’m expecting them all to be spoken for. If
you need or want one, let me know (newsham@mac.com). Our designated parking area is in the "Main Post” parking lot, which is bounded by Montgomery, Graham,
Lincoln, and Sheridan Streets in the Presidio. Look for signs saying "Beach
Impeach Parking." Enter “Lincoln and Montgomery, Presidio of San Francisco,
94129” in your mapping service and you’ll see it.
-- BICYCLE PARKING – Directly across from our site is a chain link fence
100 yards long. I would think most bikes can easily be locked to that fence. In
the area, there are other bike-locking possibilities as well.
-- DRIVING FROM THE EAST BAY OR FROM DOWNTOWN SF – You can enter
the Presidio at the Lombard Gate, or by taking Marina Blvd straight into the
Presidio (Marina Blvd “becomes” Mason when you enter the Presidio). Either
one will work. Download a map and directions from your map service.

-- BUS FROM SF -- The #29 MUNI bus stops RIGHT AT our Crissy Field site. The
#30 MUNI bus will drop you at the corner of Divisadero and Bay, and it's only
1.0 miles to our event site. The #22 MUNI bus will drop you at Marina Blvd and
Fillmore, a stone’s throw from the Marina Green and 1.2 perfectly flat miles
to our event site.
-- COMING FROM MARIN -- Buses from Marin stop at the south end of the Golden
Gate Bridge. From there you can either walk (it is half a mile walk, downhill)
or
catch a 29 MUNI bus, from the south end of the Bridge, right to the
site. If you're driving, take the VERY FIRST exit (barely 30 yards)
after the toll plaza, loop to the right, back around and under the toll
plaza, then LEFT (downhill) on Lincoln; follow Lincoln until it becomes
Sheridan; at Taylor, look downhill, toward the Bay, spot the signs that
say "Beach Impeach Parking", and there you are. The actual event site
is just a short walk away.
-- COMING FROM THE PENINSULA -- Generally, I'd recommend coming up 280 to
19th Avenue. Head toward the Golden Gate Bridge, take the last SF exit just
before the toll plaza; bear right at the exit (at this point you're less than a
mile from the "Main Post parking lot" and our Crissy Field event site); go left
(downhill) on Lincoln; follow Lincoln until it becomes Sheridan; at Taylor, look
downhill, toward the Bay, spot the signs that say "Beach Impeach Parking", and
there you are. The actual event site is just a short walk away.
